Adivasi Community had a strong desire to start hostel program for a long time in order to reduce drops outs  . There were a number of reasons community wanted to start a hostel program like living a long way from school , lack of mentorship and academic support  . 2019,VBVT decided to collaborate with a private school(Fathima school) in Gudalur for girls and Boy’s hostel in VBVT campus itself .Here in hostel program we try resolve these issues with extra tuition and mentorship inaddtion to regular nourishing food and safe environment to lead a happy life . We currently have 20 students, all of them go to the local school studying from 9th to 12.
